Dozens of jobs look set to be lost in Doncaster after a major firm announced plans to close a site in the borough.

Balfour Beatty, which employs over 50 staff at its office in the borough, has confirmed it is starting consultation over closing three of its sites.

The list of sites which would go under the proposals are Doncaster, Rochdale, and Dartford.

Officials at the company yesterday refused to say exactly how many people worked at its Doncaster base, but said the number was between 50 and 90.
