An Isle company won a competition to be given national exposure as part of a campaign to promote small businesses in the UK.
HiViz Safety, based in Kings Croft, Ealand, was named as one of the Small Biz 100 companies as part of the Small Business Saturday campaign.
The competition win meant they were one of a 100 companies nationally to be given free online exposure promoting their services in the lead up to Small Business Saturday on December 5.
The company, which provides services that help businesses to improve health and safety in the workplace, was given top billing on the website www.smallbusinesssaturdayuk.com on November 10.
The firm used it as an opportunity to explain about the services they provide.
A company spokeswoman said: “It was a brilliant opportunity for small businesses such as ours to showcase their services to a wider audience.
“We know we have a lot to offer a multitude of sectors and this was an ideal way to reach them.
“We want to shout our message from the rooftops, which is that having a robust health and safety regime is beneficial in many ways.
