Two Doncaster companies are joining forces to create a one stop shop for landlords in the region.
Force 10 Property Management and Plumbing Resolutions have teamed up to create Building Solutions.
The companies have enjoyed a close working relationship for several years and the new project aims to take the pressure off landlords to carry out their own repairs and maintenance work. It is hoped it will result in empty properties being made habitable in weeks rather than months.
Tony Ward, of Force 10 Property Management, said the venture would not only support landlords but also make Doncaster a more desirable place to live and do business.
He added: “We will put sole reasonability in our hands, taking the pressure away from the landlords and giving us more scope and opportunity to build both companies and expand into renovation of properties.
“There are a lot of properties in the town that stand empty and boarded up for months, this has a knock on affect for neighbours and can affect property prices.
“This venture will mean we can get properties back up to a quality standard and rented out in two to three weeks rather than several months.
“Both companies have stood the test of time and stood shoulder to shoulder through the recession and now we are beginning to see a change in Doncaster and the property market is looking up with more people renting and more landlords buying properties and putting them in our hands to look after.”
The project has also created one new post within the company and will create an apprentice role.
Alongside the property management business Force 10, which has been in business since 2009, also run a recruitment company that helps ex-military men and women back to work.
