Burglary suspect arrested after Doncaster chopper chase

A suspected burglar has been arrested in a Doncaster village after he was pursued by the police helicopter in the early hours of this morning.

The National Police Air Service dispatched the helicopter from their Carr Gate base in Wakefield, to Denaby, at 1.10am.

The service tweeted: “Suspect search following a burglary. One suspect located and arrested, good teamwork with ground units.”
