Transport police have been called out to a Doncaster train station, after receiving reports of a man’s body being found on the tracks.
Officers from British transport police and South Yorkshire police were called out to Bentley train station at around 6.20am yesterday morning, after being informed of the incident. A British Transport Police (BTP) spokesman said: “We were called to the Bentley train station, and found a body with injuries consistent with being struck by a train.
They continued: “Medics from Yorkshire Ambulance Service pronounced the man, believed to be 20 years old and from Doncaster, dead at the scene.
“The man’s family have been informed and a file will be compiled for the coroner.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious.”
