Police have seized off-road bikes as part of a crackdown against motorcyclists riding vehicles illegally.
Officers launched a clampdown on nuisance bikers following a number of complaints from residents in Moorends, particularly in the Grange Road area of the town.
Two bikes have been seized and two men have been prosecuted for motoring offences, South Yorkshire Police has said.
The issue was raised at a community meeting between residents and neighbourhood police officers. A number of patrols were carried out around Moorends.
Police said officers would continue to treat the issue as a priority over the coming months.
The next police community meeting takes place at Moorends Miners Welfare from 1.30pm on Thursday, March 3.
