A night of Megaslam Wrestling in Doncaster

A unique brand of action-packed entertainment is expected in Doncaster this week when a championship wrestling show rolls into town.

Megaslam Wrestling is celebrating seven years in business and is hosting their latest show at the Doncaster Dome on Sunday, February 7, from 3pm onwards.

It will feature some of the world’s top grapplers, including 17-year-old Conisbrough lad Robbie Mckenzie aka Caelan Taylor Mckenzie who will be defending his championship title for the first time.

Other stars include Mexican wrestler El Ligero, Australia’s Toni Storm, Britain’s Got Talent star Tagori, Martin Kirby and Nottingham powerhouse Stixx.

Megaslam Wrestling was formed by Swinton-born Brad Taylor and the 24-year-old told how the company has gone from strength to strength.

He said: “We now present well over 250 shows a year in the UK’s biggest venues, the show has appeared on Britain’s Got Talent and we now tour the Pontins holiday camps each year.

“But we still love coming back to Doncaster.”
