Boxing fans have a unique chance to meet a sporting legend, thanks to our brilliant competition.

An Evening with Ricky Hatton will be hosted by Doncaster Cancer charity The Eve Merton Dreams Trust at The Keepmoat Stadium, on Sunday, December 13

At the event, guests will be able to hear the boxer tell his story in his own comedic fashion.

But we have teamed up the with The Eve Merton Dreams Trust to offer one lucky reader the chance to win a pair of VIP tickets to join Ricky on his table for the evening.

The prize includes two VIP tickets worth £180, 3 course meal with wine, seats at Ricky’s table for the evening, and a photograph with Ricky plus print. There is also a runner-up prize of a pair of tickets to the event.

Ricky Hatton, 36, ruled the Light Welterweight and Welterweight divisions holding the IBF, IBO & WBA versions of the title.

His success includes a huge victory over Kostya Tszyu, then widely regarded as one of the top pound-for-pound boxers in the world, as well as Vegas victories over Juan Urango, Pauli Malignaggi and Jose Luis Castillo.

Sporting a record of 45 wins, 32 by knockout, Ricky was one of the most popular home grown boxers our country has ever seen, leading him to be widely known as “The People’s Champion”.
