Shoppers were given the chance to sample some tasty treats from home and abroad when they visited Epworth’s historic Market Place.
Freshly baked loaves, continental cakes and fruity jam were just some of the local produce available to foodies at the Epworth Summer Food Fair.
Visitors could choose from fresh and rare meats, gourmet fishcakes, preserves and homebaked cakes.
The food fairs have been a popular feature of the Market Place, not only giving people a chance to taste some unusual treats, but also encouraging visitors to the town to take in some of its sights.
The event has become a popular destination for all the family.
Coun Liz Redfern, leader of North Lincolnshire Council, said: “The food fairs in Epworth are proving a real success and enjoyed by many people who appreciate a different shopping experience.
“There is a whole range of produce available. You can pick up the best local produce direct from the farmers, cooks and producers who make or harvest it – but just as importantly, take time in visiting the variety of shops in Epworth where a warm welcome awaits.”
