Six of the best air cadets from 300 Squadron based in Crowle (pictured) have qualified as first aiders.
The Squadron joined other cadets from Goole for a weekend teaching the cadets first aid skills.
The course covered many difference areas, from how to recognise the symptoms of a heart attack to how to deal with broken bones and severe bleeding.
All successful cadets were awarded their “Red Badges” that show they are first aid qualified. A squadron spokesman said: “First Aid is a valuable skill for the cadets to learn. You always hope they will never need to use their skills, but reassuring to know they can.”
