Doncaster Cancer Detection Trust

Footprints for Pollie
Pollie Smith was born at 24 weeks gestation, weighing a tiny 1lb 10oz. She spent 23 weeks and four days in hospital and had lots of complications along the way. Pollie suffered a left hand brain bleed, which has left her with a right sided weakness, and has Hydrocephalus and Epilepsy. The monies raised will help Pollie get specialist treatment in the USA and equipment she may need to make day-to-day life easier.
Daniel Warren Bostock was born November 10 2016. Unfortunately due to complications at birth Daniel didn’t breathe for the first 25 minutes of his life. This period of reduced oxygen unfortunately caused significant damage to his brain and shortly afterwards we was told he had severe Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy or HIE. The monies we raise will hopefully provide support, treatment and equipment as he grows older.
