A Mexborough-based manufacturing firm has shared some old pictures of the business - and is appealing for ex-employees to come forward and provide them with even more.

Radiator maker Stelrad, based in Rowms Lane, wants to hear from former workers so they can piece together a comprehensive history of the company, which is believed to have had a presence in the town since 1929.

The firm will use any memories or photographs to form a timeline for staff and customers to view.

Sarah Baker, the company’s marketing and communications manager, who is leading the project, said: “We’re upgrading our factory tour offering here at Stelrad and part of that includes providing a timeline that highlights all the main developments here since the early 1920s.”

The company has shared some old pictures it has already gathered with the South Yorkshire Times, that show how the site used to look in previous years and we can also show you some old adverts, revealing the firm’s marketing techniques from yesteryear.

Anyone who can help is asked to email Sarah at sarah.baker@stelrad.com
