Around 700 people attended a community event in Hexthorpe organised by Doncaster Council working alongside Hexthorpe social enterprise and local residents.

Hexthorpe Christmas Fayre took place at Hexthorpe Flatts where local people enjoyed various entertainments, 30 craft stalls and a community carol concert.

The Deputy Mayor, Councillor Glyn Jones, cabinet member for corporate services, equalities & cohesion, said: “This was a fantastic event and I am delighted to see so many members of the community in attendance.

“This was the last local event of 2015 that started with the summer gala and also included a firework spectacular.”
