Celebrate ‘Holidays at Home’ at Kelham Island Museum this summer, as part of the Sheffield attraction’s sixth annual 1940s Wartime weekend and Vintage Fayre.

There will be live music from the UK’s number one George Formby entertainer, PEC Esquire, plus vintage vocalist Natasha Harper. Pete Jones will sing the wartime classics and Susan St Nicholas will round the entertainment off this weekend with a stunning Vera Lynn tribute.

On Sunday Afternoon, there will be a tea dance with GI Jive, featuring dance lessons to get your toes tapping and your hips moving.

There will be displays from UK Homefront, 39-45 Allied Group, featuring vehicles and weaponry, Pontefract Home Guard and South Yorkshire Transport Museum Cinema Showbus, where visitors will be able to watch old films of Sheffield.

There will also be vintage, antique and craft stalls, vintage vehicles, wartime museum tours, a wartime cafe and much more. And don’t miss the opportunity to see the River Don Engine in Steam
