SEVERAL closely-fought whist sessions have taken place at Epworth’s Imperial Hall venue.
One week saw Margaret Hardy win with a score of 168, just ahead of second-placed Edna Day with 167 and Margaret Hirst who was third with 165.
Fay Romanation had the low of 138.
The following week again saw Hardy claim the honours with 167, just ahead of Mary Adlesee’s score of 164 and third-placed Jim Ogmon who was third with 163.
Once again Romanation had the lowest score, 148.
