The Office for National Statistics has released the number of deaths by postcode area in Doncaster up until the end of July.
According to the figures, Armthorpe North is the only place in the town where no Covid-19 deaths have been recorded from March up until the end of July.
The figures which divide Doncaster into 39 postcode areas, showed that Thorne has the worst rate of coronavirus deaths, with a total of 21 fatalities recorded between March and July.
There were 51,831 deaths occurring in England and Wales between 1 March and 31 July 2020 and registered by 15 August 2020 that involved COVID-19.
For the analysis, the ONS used the term “involving COVID-19” when referring to deaths that had COVID-19 mentioned anywhere on the death certificate, whether it was the underlying cause of death or not.
