Doncaster coronavirus death toll remains static as UK total passes 43,000
The Doncaster figure has slowed significantly in recent weeks, the NHS England statistics show.
Meanwhile, the UK total now stands at more than 43,000.
Latest figures show that in the last 24 hours, England reported 55 new deaths, Wales had six, Scotland recorded two and Northern Ireland had zero.

Hide AdBut newly released data from the Office for National Statistics earlier this week reveals that Covid-related deaths are nearly 54,000.
Locally, 284 deaths have been recorded in Sheffield, 187 in Rotherham and 141 in Barnsley.
Sheffield’s total remained static, while Rotherham and Barnsley both recorded one new death each.
The Doncaster figures relate to deaths within hospitals run by Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Hide AdThis includes Doncaster Royal Infirmary, Mexborough’s Montagu Hospital and Bassetlaw Hospital at Worksop.
Meanwhile pubs, restaurants, hotels and hairdressers are all gearing up to bounce back into life after being given the green light open from 4 July in England, when social distancing rules will be eased.
People should remain 2m apart where possible but a "one metre plus" rule will be introduced.
Two households in England will also be able to meet indoors and stay overnight - with social distancing.
