60 more coronavirus cases diagnosed in Doncaster in the last 24 hours

Public Health England figures show that 24,787 people had been confirmed as testing positive for Covid-19 by 9am today, Wednesday, June 23, in Doncaster up from 24,727 the same time on Tuesday.

The rate of infection in Doncaster now stands at 7,947 cases per 100,000 people, higher than the England average of 7,224.

Doncaster's cases were among the 418,846 recorded across Yorkshire, a figure which rose by 1,521 over the period.
