The incident prompted the school to make some big changes.
Grace Ward, aged seven who is on the school council, said: “We took some photos on the yellow lines to show people they shouldn’t park there.”
They were joined by PC Parish and PC Stanton from South Yorkshire Police.
Lee said since they shared the photos there has been a dramatic reduction of parked cars.

“People are being encouraged to park in the nearby shops car park instead.”
This is just the beginning the school council has even more plans to tackle the problem.
Billy Mathison, also aged seven and on the council, said: “We will give out tracking tickets to anyone who parks on the yellow lines.”

Lee said: “We're really proud of our children who often show more road safety awareness than some adults in their vehicles do.”
