The town has 13 businesses nominated in 11 categories at the ceremony, held at the Magna Centre in Rotherham on July 7, and celebrates the best of the best in business.

The nominees are the winners from four chamber awards – Doncaster, Sheffield, Rotherham and Barnsley, and East Midlands – plus those from the Derbyshire Times business awards – and pits them head-to-head to discover who will be ‘first among equals’. Dan Fell, chief executive officer of Doncaster Chamber, said: “The quality of the most recent winners of the Doncaster Chamber Awards make them strong candidates in the Sheffield City Region Awards. It’s good to see such a diverse range of small and large businesses representing Doncaster’s successful business community.”
