The 43-year-old started out by taking dressmaking classes but decided that it wasn’t for her so she turned her attention towards accessories.

“I have always loved shoes and bags and so I decided to make my own.”

She started with small toiletry bags but worked her way up to large handbags.

Jayne imports bright and bold fabrics from America which suit her personal style.

“I’m very much into the gothic,” she said.

“I also love big prints with lots of colour.

“My favourite print that I have ever used is off Mexican wrestlers.

“It’s very different from anything I have seen out on the market.”

Jayne started making bags just eight months ago and it has become a creative outlet for her.

“I do suffer from anxiety and depression and this is a way to help my mental health,” she continued.

“If I don’t set aside time for myself I start to feel low, sewing keeps me sane.”

With schools being partially closed due to Covid-19 in the last few months Jayne has had more time for her bags.
