Workhorse Rob Marsden back for another shift with Sheffield Sharks
The 31-year-old forward’s new deal takes him into a fourth consecutive season with the BBL club.

Hide AdLyons said: “It’s great to have Marsden back on board. He embodies what the club is, a tough, blue collar worker, that puts his head down, works hard and never complains.
"He sets a great example for our younger guys.”
Marsden averaged 10.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.1 assists through all competitions last season.
He scored a season high of 20 points in September against former club Manchester Giants and produced a season high of 12 rebounds in October against Glasgow Rocks, both in BBL Cup competitions.
Marsden has helped the club reach the BBL Trophy final in 2018 and secure a runners-up finish at the 2019-20 British Basketball All-Stars Championship.

Hide AdHe joins Mike Tuck, Mackey McKnight and Nicholas Lewis and re-signing for the Sharks.
“I’m really looking forward to another season with the Sharks, especially with the way the last one ended due to the pandemic,” said Marsden.
“The club has done a great job bringing back some familiar faces that will help us pick up where we left off.”
Marsden played for Leeds Force for two seasons before joining Sharks.
