Firefighters tackle wheelie bin blazes across South Yorkshire.

Wheelie bins were set alight in a series of arson attacks across South Yorkshire.

At 4.30am today two bins were set on fire in Carr Green Lane, Mapplewell, Barnsley and the night before bin fires were reported in Monteney Road, Parson Cross and Winn Gardens, Middlewood, both in Sheffield.

A wheelie bin was also torched in Fenton Road, Kimberworth, Park, Rotherham.

Crews also dealt with a car set alight on a driveway outside a house in Wakefield Road, Staincross, Barnsley; a tree set on fire in Hard Lane, Kiveton Park, Rotherham; tyres found burning in Ingsfield Lane, Bolton-upon-Dearne and a fence torched in Alfred Road, Instoneville, Doncaster.

Anyone with information should call South Yorkshire Police on 101.
