Doncaster Council chief executive in anti-hate crime message following Brexit vote
Speaking on social media, Chief Executive of Doncaster Council, Jo Miller, urged anyone who has been the subject of racist attacks - both verbal and physical - to report them to South Yorkshire Police.
She said: "If you're Doncaster resident & experience hate,abuse or violence , being told to pack up &go home - don't put up with it,report to @syptweet"

Hide AdThis comes in the wake of last week's referendum when 51.9 per cent of British voters opted to leave the European Union.
Ms Miller continued by saying she met with Mayor Ros Jones last night to discuss the issue of Doncaster residents experiencing racial abuse, and added: "We are determined that all Doncaster residents are able 2live peaceably, free from fear of hate& abuse #NoToHate"
According to Ms Miller 'one or two' incidents of that nature have been reported since the EU referendum result was announced on Friday morning.
