Delays as lorry spills load of chicken offal across motorway near Doncaster
Motorists in Doncaster are being warned of delays and disruption after a truck spilled a load of chicken offal across a motorway carriageway this afternoon.
The A1(M) southbound between J36 for Warmsworth and J35 for Wadworth is being impacted.
A spokesman for Highways England Yorkshire said: “Lane 2 closed due to a chicken offal spillage.
“LGV stranded in lane 2 and offal across lanes 1 + 2.
“Traffic is passing in lane 1 and using the hard shoulder.
“Expect delays in the area.
“Updates to follow.”
