Murder investigation launched into the death of Doncaster woman

An investigation is underway following the death of a 49-year-old woman from Doncaster.

Last night (May 19) at 10:59pm police attended a property on Manor Way in Askern following a call made to the ambulance service reporting a woman’s death.

A 48-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder. He remains in police custody.

Enquiries are on-going to ascertain the exact circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.
