“£5,000 is what Matchroom play for a British title eliminator so that’s not bad for Atif or anyone else. With the (BBBC) Board’s approval it would be a final lightweight eliminator, both fighters would improve their profile, hopefully on Freesport TV, and get a good pay day.
“I have made two previous offers to Atif’s people, maybe they didn’t think he was ready in the past.
“Atif has just come of a stoppage win over Lee Appleyard, (March) so there are no excuses for it not to happen.”

Hide AdBull wants the two to meet on Wales’ next show at Barnsley Metrodome on October 5.
As for his man Tomlinson v Fox, he said: “They have got similar unbeaten records and this could be for the central area welterweight title.”
“It’s another fight that would put bums on seats.
“Fighters like them need a proper challenge.
“These days there are boxers who have harder spars than fights.”
Bull would like to put the two together on a show partnered by Ryan Rhodes, at the Magna Centre, Rotherham, on September 28.
* Bull has also offered Derbyshire’s Conar Blackshaw a £5,000 purse to fight Sheffield’s Kyle Yousaf, hoping it would be for the vacant English flyweight title.
