"Following advice from Public Health England, we have been able to identify students who may have had close contact and we have asked them, as a precautionary measure to remain at home to self-isolate until Wednesday 14 October.
"All students involved must stay at home and should not go out into the community until their self-isolation period is over. The Year 12 student was already self-isolating and has not been in school since Monday 14 September so no further action is required at this time.
"We realise that this will come as concerning news for all involved, however, we have acted swiftly and are continuing to work closely with Public Health England.
