North Lincolnshire Council is asking people to share their views on the leisure centre facilities it currently provides in North Lincolnshire to find out if there is a need to change the opening times.
The council leisure centres include:
Ancholme Leisure Centre
Baysgarth Leisure Centre
Epworth Leisure Centre
The survey aims to find out what changes we could make to improve customer services, attract more customers and improve value for money at the council-run leisure centres.
The results from the survey will identify if there are any improvements that need to be made to any of the leisure centres in North Lincolnshire.
It’s essential that we meet the needs of customers using the leisure centres to ensure that the best service is provided, which is why we are asking people to complete the survey and tell us what they think.
You can complete the survey from Monday 9 December and you have until 10 January 2014 to share your views on the leisure centre consultation. Don’t miss the chance to have your say.
It will only take a few minutes to complete the survey and your views will help shape the future of leisure centre facilities in North Lincolnshire.
The survey can be completed online on the council’s website. www.northlincs.gov.uk/your-council/have-your-say/consultations-and-petitions/consultations/current-consultations/. You can also pop into your nearest local link or library, the main council buildings: Civic Centre, Church Square House and Hewson House, all leisure centres and cultural venues (such as North Lincolnshire Museum) to pick up a survey to complete.
Councillor Carl Sherwood, cabinet member for Customer Services, Sport and Leisure, said: “We want people to tell us what they think about the leisure centre facilities currently provided in North Lincolnshire – more specifically if the opening times meet their needs. We are aware that people are living busy lifestyles and that the services we provide need to move with the times. Your views will help us decide on how the service is provided and the best way forward. Make sure you complete the survey and have your say, it will only take a few minutes of your time.”
