WHEATLEY Hills secured back to back wins with an emphatic 45-7 mauling of Durham City in North One East.
First half tries from Ryan Guest, Gaz Burns and Jonny Woodcock – who converted two – gave Wheatley a 19-0 advantage at the break.
Woodcock, Guest and Burns all added second tries while Ryan Richardson also got in on the act.
Wath upon Dearne were brought back down to earth with a bump in Yorkshire One with a 37-24 defeat at Ilkley.
Confidence was high after an opening day victory, but ill-discipline cost Wath dear and left them down to 13 men at one stage.
Shane Brown, Andy Barras and Matt Burrows all went over for Wath.
Doncaster Phoenix came back from 17-10 to beat West Park Leeds 27-24 in Yorkshire Two.
Braces from Ryan Peacey and Craig Deakin plus an Adrian Sheehan try gave Phoenix the win.
Thornensians managed to shut out Baildon in the second half but could not overturn a 22-0 deficit in Yorkshire Three.
Centre Olly Cox scored a try, conversion and penalty in the second half to leave the score 22-10.
Tries from Mark Hunt, Bruce Drennan and Marcel Dent added some respectability to the scoreline for Adwick le Street in a 39-17 defeat at Garforth in Yorkshire Five.
And Rossington Hornets lost 16-6 to Sheffield Oaks.
