Steve Clark won this year’s Doncaster Triathlon by an impressive margin of 1:43.
The Lincsquad athlete clocked the fastest swim and cycle times to take first place at Hatfield Water Park.
Sunday morning’s event attracted almost 100 athletes from across the region.
The standard triathlon tested competitors’ endurance over a 1.5km swim, 41km bike ride and 10km run.
Jonathan Fray finished second overall, with Lincsquad pair Jordan Skelly and Luke Osborn in third and fourth.
Bessacarr’s Michael Chadwick, who has taken up triathlon after excelling in cricket as a youngster, finished 12th.
The first woman past the post was Emilie Verroken in a time of 2:26:54.
Both Clark and Verroken retained their titles after winning the event last year.
