It’s day two of the world’s oldest classic as Doncaster’s famous showpiece the St Leger Festival continues today with Ladies Day.
In what promises to be another superb display of racing at the Town Moor venue, the going is Good to Soft, with all the racing action beginning from 1.40pm.
Yesterday’s winners included Braidley and Lightning Thunder as Willie McKay’s Donny Rover finished in seventh in the opening race.
On today’s meeting, Roderick Duncan, clerk of Doncaster Racecourse, said: “We’ve changed the going to Good to Soft from Good after a sustained period of rain this morning.
“We will keep an eye on the ground as the day goes on.”
