RLC Rockets fire at EIS Future Cheer event

Doncaster’s flagship cheerleading squad RLC Rockets earned three first place finishes and a runners up spot at the recent Future Cheer event at Sheffield’s English Institute of Sport.

Rockets scored wins in Tiny Stunt (Level 1), Mini Stunt (Level 1) and Junior Stunt (Level 2).

Coach Rachel Carter said: “Well done to all our amazing and talented cheerleaders for your hard work, determination and your fantastic cheer spirit - you made your coach extremely proud.”

Rockets is open to boys and girls aged four and upwards. They train at Sir Thomas Wharton Community College in Edlington every week.

Sessions are held on Wednesdays (6-7.30pm) for ages 9-14 years and Thursdays (5-6.30pm) for ages 4-8 years.

Senior Cheer (ages 15+) is held on Sundays (6pm-8pm) at Balby Community Sports Village.
