JAMIE McDonnell’s European bantamweight clash against Belgian star Stephane Jamoye will headline a 13-fight spectacular to kick off the new year at Doncaster Dome on Saturday.
The top notch Frank Maloney promotion will also feature ex-British super featherweight champion Carl Johanneson along with a bevy of rising stars, ten of which are unbeaten.
But the star of the show is undoubtedly 24-year-old Hatfield plasterer McDonnell whose twin brother Gavin will also be on the bill against tough Welsh featherweight Chuck Jones.
McDonnell faces his toughest test yet against 21-year-old Jamoye who is already being tipped as a future world champion.
The Belgian’s only defeat in 20 fights as a professional came against unbeaten World Youth champion Tomoki Kameda.
