They may be big characters but Paul Cooke believes new Dons co-captains Kyle Kesik and Mike Emmett will have no problems working together.
Spotting a new trend in rugby league, Cooke has opted to name two club captains for his first season in charge.
And he says Kesik and Emmett were the stand out candidates.
“Kyle captained the side last year and did a fantastic job throughout the season,” Cooke said.
“He has shown great commitment to the club by signing again this season and he’s a player you definitely want in your team.
“We wanted to reward him for all his hard work by offering him the captaincy again this year.
“Kyle brings a lot to the table both on and off the pitch.
“Mike leads by example and because of this we wanted to reward him as well.
“He’s very well respected by everyone at the club.
“I believe him and Kyle will work well together and both do a great job in leading the team this season.
“With them having such a strong presence, I think they will do a great job.”
Cooke has once again called on his contacts to arrange the Dons’ a second pre-season friendly.
North Wales Crusaders will visit the Keepmoat on February under the guidance of Clive Griffiths, who works with Cooke at the Knights.
Tickets are priced at £10, concessions £8 and children £3.
The Crusaders’ visit follows a clash with Hull FC on January 12.
