Royce rolls into Castle Park

BRETT Davey has added the final piece to his Knights forwards jigsaw with the signing of giant second row Royce Cadman.

The 6ft7 powerhouse has arrived from Newport Gwent Dragons and has spent the last two seasons dual registered with Bedwas after finishing university at Hartpury College where he won three BUCS trophies.

Cadman also represented Gloucester A while part of the Gloucestershire County set-up.

The 24-year-old said: “I’m really excited to join Doncaster Knights, and fight it out for a starting spot in a strong side which could produce good things next season.

“I’m looking forward to the hard-work and proving my worth at the set-piece and around the park, but most of all enjoying my rugby in a great set-up at Castle Park.

“If Brett needs me at six or eight as well as second-row I have experience there and will be happy just to start in the Knights’ team.

“A top four finish is our aim and with the wealth of good signings and strong players already at the club I think it is very achievable.”
