SPROTBROUGH snooker star Barry West saw his quest for the World Seniors Championship ended at the last 16 stage.
The 54-year-old lost 2-0 to New Zealand’s eventual semi-finalist Dene O’Kane at Portsmouth’s Mountbatten Centre on Saturday.
It was former world number 14 West’s first appearance at the World Seniors Championship, building on his two appearances as the World Championship at the Crucible.
Nigel Bond won the World Seniors Championship without dropping a frame across his four matches.
