THORNE Colliery warmed up for tomorrow night’s Goole and Thorne District FA Cup final with a 5-0 win over Welbeck Welfare.
Colliery meet FC Tavern at the Victoria Pleasure Grounds on Friday with a 7.30pm kick off.
Lee Mason opened the scoring against Welbeck after just one minute with a well taken finish.
Skipper Darren Fell missed from the spot on 10 minutes and Thorne had to wait until seven minutes into the second half to improve their advantage.
Mason was left with a simple tap in to double his tally and, after Trevor Hindson slotted in the third from the edge of the box, he sealed his hat trick.
Substitute Sean Gorman rounded things off in the final minute.
