Jay Rollins struck a hat trick at Glasshoughton Welfare to fire in-form Armthorpe Welfare through to the first round proper of the FA Vase.
Brian Johnston’s side overwhelmed their NCEL Premier Division hosts to run out 4-1 winners and net £800 in prize money.
Rollins struck twice in the first 20 minutes to set the tone.
A spell of second half pressure saw the hosts pull a goal back from Joel Freestone.
But Kieran Benson’s bullet header restored the two-goal cushion before Rollins took full advantage of a defensive mistake in the closing stages to complete his hat trick.
Armthorpe will travel to NCEL Premier Division rivals Liversedge in the first round on Saturday, October 19.
Rossington, meanwhile, were on the wrong end of an injury time winner as they lost 2-1 at home to West Didsbury & Chorlton in their second qualifying round tie.
Adam Wisdom thought he had sent the tie into extra time with a cool finish two minutes from time, cancelling out Tre Baldwin Willis’s earlier strike.
But Lewis Schofield scored with virtually the last kick of the game to send the North West Counties League side through to the next round.
