DUNSCROFT Welfare U12s rocketed into the final of the Goole and Thorne Cup with a convincing 7-1 win over local rivals Fishlake Falcons.
And they celebrated by continuing their unbeaten run in Division Two of Doncaster and District Junior Sunday League with a 9-0 mauling of struggling Bawtry Juniors.
The latest triumphs have set high flying Welfare up perfectly for their tantilising clash with current league leaders Mexborough Rovers on Sunday.
Dunscroft were without several key players for the cup semi-final clash with Fishlake, who held an earlier victory over them from the group stages of the competition.
Welfare took an early lead but Fishlake hit straight back.
Dunscroft dug deep and carried a 3-1 lead into the break.
It was one way traffic in the second half with clinical finishing taking Dunscroft out of sight.
Welfare continued their blistering goal scoring form at home to Bawtry in the league.
Adam Clarke scored a hat trick with Kaine Whitrod bagging a brace.
Tyler Dodwell, Bailey Lindsey, Dyland Chambers and an own goal rounded off the comprehensive win.

Moorends Hornets U13s lost 4-1 to Tickhill Juniors with Daniel Bennett on target while Dunscroft Welfare U13s won 2-0 at Babworth Rovers thanks to efforts from Owen Whittaker and Ryan Gray.
Moorends Hornets U15s snatched a 3-2 win at Edlington White Stars with goals from Jackson Broadhead, Jack Woodridge and Thomas Taylor.
