WOLVES goalkeeper Carl Ikeme has re-joined Doncaster Rovers on loan.
Ikeme trained with Rovers today after deciding to return to Doncaster for a second loan spell this season.
The 25-year-old made five appearances for Rovers before the turn of the year but his stay was cut short by a hand injury.
Ikeme has spent the last few days weighing up whether to move back to the Keepmoat Stadium or whether to stay at Wolves in a bid to impress new boss Terry Connor - and to Dean Saunders’ relief he has opted for the former.
David Button returned to Tottenham this week after his second month’s loan spell ended on Sunday.
Rovers were reluctant to offer Button an extension - because loan rules dictate that the Spurs stopper could only have stayed at Doncaster for another month.
Ikeme has signed an initial one-month loan deal at Doncaster but is now expected to see the rest of the season out at the Keepmoat.
