Rovers will kick off their pre-season calendar with their traditional local fixture.
Paul Dickov will take his first team squad to face Frickley Athletic on Wednesday, July 8, with the side also likely to feature numerous trialists.
Adult entry will be priced at £7, concessions £5 and under 16s £3.
Rovers last travelled to Westfield Lane two years ago in Paul Dickov’s first game in charge of the club, where Luke McCullough appeared as a trialist.
It has become something of a summer tradition for Rovers to visit at least one local non-league side with a squad littered with first team players.
Other matches are expected to be announced, including a friendly with Middlesbrough that will double-up as a testimonial for James Coppinger.
Matches at the Keepmoat against Nottingham Forest (July 21), Sunderland (July 29) and Wolverhampton Wanderers (August 1) have already been confirmed.
Rovers will also travel to Portugal for a pre-season training camp, though no friendlies are planned for the trip.
