Ross Johnson claimed a hat trick for Frickley Academy in their 5-0 Premier Division win at Doncaster Deaf Trust.

Jordan Harrison also scored twice to seal Frickley’s first win of the season and leave the hosts still searching for their first point.

Injury-hit Frickley promoted Brad Dockerty and Josh Kolka from the under 19s and the teenage pair coped with the step up admirably.

Harrison broke the deadlock in the first half and, while Doncaster struggled to threaten goal, Frickley failed to make the most of their chances and led 1-0 at half time.

The second half, however, proved to be a very different story as the visitors found their touch in front of goal and coasted to victory.

Just five minutes into the second half Johnson made it 2-0.

Harrison then got his second of the game with a nice turn and strike from the edge of the box.

Johnson then went on to complete his treble with an excellent 30-yard free kick and a deflected effort.

Unbeaten Frickley lie fourth in the early standings with a win and two draws to their name, while point-less Doncaster prop up the table.

With leaders Sutton Rovers not in league action, Hemsworth MW took over top spot following their 2-1 win over Armthorpe Markham Main, who have lost both their opening games.

A David Blake goal secured South Elmsall United Services a 1-1 draw away to Kinsley Boys.

Yorkshire Main got off the mark at the second time of asking in emphatic style with a 5-1 win over visiting Rossington MW.

Ryan Ambler led the way with a brace with Daniel Bell, Chris Colley and Craig Dyson also netting.

Declan Handley claimed the Rossington consolation.

Both top sides in Division One lost their one hundred per cent records.

Dunscroft United, who topped the table on goal difference, and second-placed South Kirkby Colliery, battled out a 3-3 draw.

Jamie Hindson, Danny Smith and Ethan Hedley shared the United goals.

Third-placed Denaby United, whose first team romped away with the Premier Division title last season, beat visiting Brodsworth Welfare 3-1.

Goals by Joshua Eaves and Nathan Powney secured Bawtry Town, beaten 5-2 in their opening game, a 2-1 win at Valley Knights.

A brace by Torran Adams and a single strike by Ryan Walker, saw Scawthorpe Rhinos share the spoils (3-3) with FC Central.
