Five goals in each half saw Doncaster take the points and keep their 100 per cent start to the season, writes Nigel Watson.

Facing Sheffield FC, Belles gave a solid display on a heavy field and kept another clean sheet as the goals flew into the hosts’ net at regular intervals.

The spirited Sheffield team defended with plenty of effort but were helpless as the Belles scored some fine team goals as well as great individual strikes.

With the Belles rotating their squad regularly, the Sheffield team never got the respite they needed but still never let their heads drop.

The 10-0 win saw goals come from Jess Hassell (2), Kelsey Douglas (2), Kirsty Nelthorpe (2), Chloe Dean, Roza Frydrych, Libby Watson and Tia Hughes.

The under-15s are next in action this Saturday against Wickersley at home.
