Game management will be essential for Doncaster Knights at Tynedale today, according to skills coach Paul Cooke.

Knights crushed the North East side 55-3 at Castle Park but Cooke has warned it won’t be so straightforward in Corbridge.

“They are beating teams on their own turf so we know it is going to be a very tough match,” said Cooke.

“They beat Fylde a fortnight ago so we are definitely going to need to be alert, they will be gunning for us.

“We’re looking to build on aspects of the Loughborough performance, particularly with how we manage the conditions.

“Up in the North East it will be tricky and we will need to focus on game management.”
