Doncaster Knights will begin the new Championship season with a trip to newly-relegated London Irish.

And in a baptism of fire, Knights' first home game will be against fierce rivals Rotherham Titans.

Clive Griffiths' men will travel to the Madejski Stadium for their league opener on the weekend of September 2-4.

It is the first time that the Exiles have been outside of the Premiership since 1994.

Round Two sees Rotherham visit Castle Park, before Knights visit newly-promoted Richmond in Round Three.

The final round of fixtures on April 15 sees Knights host London Irish.
