Doncaster-based XBlades UK have landed a lucrative deal as new kit suppliers for Premiership giants Gloucester Rugby.

The company is headed up by former Dons owner Shane Miller, ex-Dons player and coach Tony Miller and retired England international Jason Robinson.

XBlades will design, manufacture and supply Gloucester Rugby with home, away and European playing kits as well as training wear from 2015/16 onwards.

Managing director Shane Miller said: “Although XBlades was established over 25 years ago in Australia, we only launched in the UK just over three years ago and, at that point in time, we could never have imagined the success we would be celebrating.

“Landing the Gloucester contract is amazing as we can now add Gloucester Rugby to our impressive list of partner clubs, which includes Cronulla Sharks, Parramatta Eels, Castleford Tigers and Featherstone Rovers.

“It’s a very exciting time for XBlades and we are very much looking forward to working with the fantastic team at Gloucester Rugby - it really is a very well oiled machine.”
