MOORENDS-Thorne Marauders reached the half way stage in the Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire league program with a 100 per cent win record.

The game was not without incident but head coach Peter Green praised his young team for their performance.

"We were a little peeved with the tactics deployed by our opposition that never really got stamped on by the referee.

"I was immensely proud of how my much younger and smaller team stood up to be counted and finally dominate the collision."

*On Saturday the Marauders are at home against Sheffield Forgers, kick off 2.30pm.

MARAUDERS Merit also made it a 100 per record against title chasing Grimsby based South Humber Rabbitohs, containing an excellent mixture of experienced players like Paul (Spooner) Hopkinson, Shane Southgate and Martin Rowlands showing the quality to guide the young and new around the park.
