Football lesson for teachers

PARENTS gave a footballing lesson to teachers during one of the most popular sporting occasions at a Thorne school.
Trinity Academy held a friendly match between parents and members of staff for the fourth successive year.
And this year's encounter proved a real goal-fest, with the parents eventually running out 4-1 winners.
Both goalkeepers were called into action during an evenly contested first 45 minutes, which saw the parents take the lead with a scrambled goal after five minutes, only for the staff to equalise late in the half.
Members of staff took advantage of their large squad at the interval, making several substitutions.
But they were undone once more as a close-range header made it 2-1 to the parents, before a fine long-range effort gave the visitors a two-goal cushion.
The parents' side rounded off their victory in the closing stages, with a breakaway goal giving a final score of 4-1.
Their win put the parents ahead in the series, with two victories to the staff's one, and another game having ended in a draw.
Academy Principal Ian Brew said: "The match was a wonderful occasion once again, played in good spirit and with some fine skill on show.
"The parents' team played extremely well and we'll have to pick ourselves up and try to draw even in the series next year."
