The boys got off to a slow start struggling to break down the dogged defence from Kirk Burton 'B' in the first game, but their persistence paid off when Harry Jackson slotted into the bottom corner to secure the only goal of the game.

The next group game saw Dunscroft dominating the proceedings, winning 2-0 with a double from Luke Black.

The next game against the hosts proved another frustrating affair for Dunscroft with a number of well worked moves being wasted with poor finishing. Blushes were spared however, by a fine strike from James Mattocks, leaving the Sheffield keeper routed to the spot, winning the game and sending the boys into the last group game with a 100 per cent record.

The last game played against Woodhouse 'A' was dominated by some fine defence work from both sides, with Mason Clark and Connor Gray proving an impenetrable wall for the Woodhouse forwards and both teams proceeded to the semi-finals after the game finished with a 0-0 draw.

The semi-final proved another hiccup when Kirk Burton 'A' went into an early lead with a strong run and fine strike from the centre forward.

This however, proved to be a catalyst for Dunscroft to slip into another gear, pinning Kirk Burton in their own half for the remainder of the game and securing two goals in the process. These goals were secured by Matty and Shania Robinson.

The final was a repeat of the last group's game against Woodhouse 'A', but this time Dunscroft ran out easy winners 4-0, with an early hat-trick from Luke Black and a scorching right foot volley from James Gill.
